You carry His presence and power

Jesus said, “Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life” (John 4:14).

When we’re young, it seems that we begin “full.” Our well overflows.

But, over time, as people need something from us— whether it’s a spouse or kids or even people we don’t know— we continue drawing from the well and giving away what we have.

In time, we feel empty, drained, depleted.

So, we serve. And continue giving. And, before long, not only do we sense it, others do too…

Frustration grows.

Resentment builds.

Blockers enter.

Ever been there?

The solution…

… isn’t to stop serving or giving.

Rather, it’s to step into a place where the Father pours into us, constantly, such that we overflow with the resources and stretch He supplies rather than giving simply of ourselves.
